The show has been on for several seasons and for the most part, it seems to do fairly well in the ratings. This didnt bother them one bit though, with their placements taking them to the finish mat. Rob/Amber - I loved Rob/Ambers short story arc where they arrogantly dominated for 3 legs and then had 1 disaster of a leg and became an early boot (was even greater if you hated Rob/Amber). The relationship these two have is very concerning. THE AMAZING RACE 2 TEAMS - Reality TV World To win this race you need two people with killer instinct. And by the way, they've had enough plastic surgery to pay for a whole new state. Would rank higher if the Zanzibar section was stronger. I feel it had less dull sections than TAR10 and TAR6 mostly due to Charla/Mirnas craziness, but also each team in the top 4 contributed to either drama or fun moments. And making noodles/carrying a dragon head and drum were great cultural tasks with placement changes. Oswald: Patience and respect is something that is incredibly important. And I loved the letter challenge from past racers, especially the villains getting mean letters (Marshall/Lance to Mirna You speak 5 languages but can barely speak English and Franks gibberish letter to Joe/Bill just to annoy them haha) Perfect location at the end of the world in Ushuaia, great challenges, tense ending, great storytelling! It was similar to TAR2 in that it had a mix of likeable, crazy and hilarious characters but TAR2 had a stronger ending (as did TAR7). They eventually made it to the final three despite not winning any previous legs, and managed to be the only team to properly complete the final task to eke out the victory over Dustin & Kandice and Charla & Mirna. And the boys use that to their advantage so, so hard. Oswald added, "We balance each other perfectly. After Mary messes up the name of a building, the team falls behind drastically, losing out on the fast forward by ten minutes. Best friends With a regular cast, this first episode would have been an epic failure with this leg design. Yes there was still a lot of fast scary thing vs. slow easy thing, but there were some innovative ones in here too. Charla/Mirna were just hilarious - Charla throwing up the sausage to fit more in and Mirna yelling IT TASTES LIKE POOP! (and Dustin/Kandice cant stop laughing at them), Mirna has another huge taxi meltdown (Im crying and hes laughing!) and Charla struggling to guide the horse and falling over in armour (Im going to Hell for laughing at Charla but it could be the funniest moment so far). The Intersection should not be on a leg with a Marked for Elimination (not enough time to get a 30 minute lead) nor should the Intersection have a Fast Forward, and finally Joe/Bill were screwed over by a terribly designed leg (having a marked for elimination, Eric sabotaging them on the Intersection, and a terribly easy Road Block).
